AMC has just released four new teaser trailers for The Walking Dead. Just a quick taste of what we're in store for with the second season.

The dead will be walking again on Sunday, October 16th at 9pm on AMC.
"Zombies are predictable. You know how to deal with them. You know what situations to avoid. What's going to be really dangerous in this world, just like in anything else, is going to be the human beings. It's going to be when the evilness pervades in the human beings, they're going to be the real danger, not the zombies."
Shaun of the Dead, along with 69 other Focus Features films, is on sale for $4.99 on iTunes.
Since this seems to be tie-in promotion for their upcoming film One Day, this sale will only last... you guess it... one day.
And Edgar Wright / Simon Pegg / Nick Frost fans may want to note that Hot Fuzz is also up for grabs in this deal.
Apparently fulfilling a dream that he's had for over thirty years, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian is finally getting his wish to be a zombie thanks to The Walking Dead. And as proof, he shared a pic (below) of his Walking Dead makeover.
In a follow up tweet, Ian also promised to blog about his undead experience on his site at some point today.

World War Z gets an official release date - December 21, 2012.

Paramount Pictures announced today it has set a release date of December 21st, 2012 for World War Z starring Academy Award-nominee Brad Pitt, with Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) directing. The geo-political thriller from Paramount and Skydance Productions, in association with Hemisphere Media Capital and GK Films, is a Plan B Entertainment/Apparatus Productions production that is shooting in England following initial photography completed in Malta last month. The film will also shoot in Scotland and Hungary.
Just released in paperback today for readers ages 9-12 years old, The Smoky Corridor: A Haunted Mystery is author Chris Grabenstein's latest kid lit thriller. And yes, its got zombies!
